The Panther Foundation is the educational foundation that supports the Spring Lake Park School District. It was started in 2004 by a group of staff, parents, and community members that wanted to provide financial resources to the school district to enrich the educational experience of all our students. 

The Panther Foundation turns donation and fund-raising dollars into grant awards and special projects that impact the education, empower strategic innovations, and bridge the community, students, and staff of the Spring Lake Park School District. Since 2004, over $600,000 has been awarded to the District through 170 grants and special projects. Some highlights include:

• Over $104,000 has been awarded to grant projects involving instructional technology, including iPods, iPads, e-Readers, software, and SmartBoards.
• Over $11,000 was donated to the Spring Lake Park School District Athletics and Activities as a result of the 2013 Panther Golf Fundraiser.
• Over $25,000 was raised at the 2011 Gala to help put SmartBoards in each of our elementary school classrooms.  
• Our district media centers have received over  $15,000 worth of books through grant projects and the Gala 2010 Fund-A-Dream project.
• The Panther Foundation contributed to the Northpoint, Woodcrest, and Park Terrace playground projects.
